What is in the rules file
Long format: one row for each plan, account size, phase and rule, so a filter or a pivot table answers any comparison. The JSON file holds the same rows, nested by plan and size, with the payout options and the symbols.

Can I use this data in an article, a comparison or a tool?
Yes, for any purpose, commercial included, under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. All it asks is credit: name WhitePips and link to whitepips.com/data, for example “Source: WhitePips, whitepips.com/data (CC BY 4.0)”.
Where do the figures come from?
From the plan board that every WhitePips plan page, the plan comparison, the trading calculator and the symbols page are built from. The files are written from that board by the same build, and a check refuses to publish the site if they ever differ from it.
Which figures are binding?
The words of the Terms of Service, the Trading Rules and the Payout Policy. The files restate the plan pages; where anything reads differently, the legal pages decide.
Are WhitePips accounts real money?
No. Every account is simulated, trading virtual capital against live market prices. Payouts are real money, paid on simulated performance under the Payout Policy.
Does it include pass rates, trader numbers or payout totals?
No. WhitePips does not publish them, so they are not in the data. Everything in the files is printed elsewhere on whitepips.com.
How do I know which version I used?
Each JSON file carries a version, a fingerprint of its contents that changes whenever a published figure does. Quote it with the date you downloaded the file. The current version is c51a60151532.
Is there an API?
The files are the API: plain JSON and CSV at fixed addresses, readable from any script, spreadsheet or browser. Link to them rather than copying them, and your figures stay current.
