A forex prop firm for US traders: access, payment and payouts at WhitePips

The United States is not on WhitePips' list of restricted jurisdictions, so US residents can buy CFD and futures accounts. Here is what is the same for a US trader, what is different at checkout and at payout time, and what to check first.

Can US residents use WhitePips?

Yes. The United States is not on the WhitePips list of restricted jurisdictions. That list names Iran, North Korea, the Palestinian Territories, Crimea, Sevastopol, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Northern Cyprus, Somaliland, Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh, and adds any country or region under comprehensive sanctions, identified by the FATF as high-risk, or where the service would be contrary to local law.

A US resident buys the same plans, at the same prices, under the same published rules as every other trader. Two things are different, and both are practical: how you pay for the account, and how a payout reaches you. They are covered below.

What WhitePips is, and is not

Before anything else, a US trader should know what kind of business this is:

  • Simulated accounts. Every WhitePips account trades live market prices with virtual capital. You never deposit trading funds, and no money of yours is placed at market risk. What you pay is a one-off fee for the account.
  • Not a broker, not regulated. WhitePips is not a broker and is not authorised or regulated by a financial services regulator; the Terms of Service say so plainly. The protections that cover regulated brokerage do not apply to it. Prop firm or broker explains the difference.
  • A new, offshore company. WhitePips is run by WhitePip FX Ltd., an International Business Company registered in Saint Lucia (Registration No. 2026-00645), with its office in the Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, UAE. It opened in 2026. Is WhitePips legit? answers the questions people ask about a new firm.

The plans a US trader can buy

CFDs on MetaTrader 5

Forex, metals, energies, indices, stocks and crypto, on accounts from $2.5K to $200K:

  • Edge 1 Step (from $43) and Edge 2 Step (from $32): evaluations with a 10% target, or 7.5% then 5%. Funded at 80%, up to 95% as you scale.
  • Prime 1 Step and Prime 2 Step (from $514 and $469 at $50K): evaluations that pay 80% for the first 30 days funded, then 100%, plus a salary of 1% of the account size a month. The fee is refunded in full once the account is funded and in profit after 30 days.
  • Instant Pro (from $154) and Instant Go (from $72): funded at purchase, at 75% up to 90% and 70% up to 85%.

Futures on Volumetrica

CME Group contracts with dxFeed market data, on accounts from $25K to $150K: One Step (from $81) and Instant (from $175), both at a 90% split and paid on demand once the payout conditions are met. Every new futures account includes 30 days of market data, then $35 for 30 days. A trader who declares themselves a Professional Subscriber to dxFeed pays the professional fee set by the exchange, $540 per calendar month.

Paying for an account from the US

Card payment is not offered to buyers from some countries, and the United States is one of them. Crypto, Apple Pay and Google Pay work in every country. Crypto checkout takes Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT on Tron or Ethereum, USDC and BNB. The price is fixed at checkout, plus the processing fee shown before you pay, and the ways to pay your checkout shows are the ones available to you.

If you pay in crypto, send the exact amount on the network shown, from a wallet or exchange that supports that network.

How a payout reaches a US resident

A payout is requested from the dashboard once your plan's conditions are met. Every request gets an automatic receipt confirming it has been received, and it is paid using the method on file for your account. The Payout Policy, section 10.3, lists the methods:

  • Bank transfer is paid by SEPA, in euros, to a bank account in your own name where the country of residence you gave at sign-up is in the SEPA area. The United States is not, so a US resident is not paid by SEPA transfer.
  • Crypto: USDT, USDC, BTC or ETH, to a wallet you control, on the networks shown in the dashboard for each coin. For USDT and USDC the dollar amount is sent at face value. A crypto payout must be at least $100.
  • Store credit, usable toward WhitePips products.

In practice, a US resident takes payouts in crypto or as store credit, unless the dashboard shows another method for your country. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, so check the address and network carefully. WhitePips does not promise when a payout will arrive. Crypto payouts from a prop firm covers the wallet side.

Identity and taxes

Identity verification must be completed and approved before your first payout, and the name on your ID, your account and your wallet must match. Verify early, during the evaluation, so it is never the thing a payout waits on. KYC at a prop firm explains what is asked.

Taxes are yours. The Payout Policy, section 18, says traders are solely responsible for any tax or reporting obligations from payouts in their country of residence, and WhitePips does not give tax advice. A US trader should ask a tax adviser how payouts are treated.

Rules that matter on day one

The rules are identical for every country. The ones most worth reading before your first trade:

  • Loss limits: on CFDs a Max Daily Loss measured from the day's opening balance and a static Max Loss; on futures a trailing Maximum Loss Limit and a soft Daily Loss Limit.
  • Weekend holding on CFDs: without the Weekend Holding add-on, trades still open at 4:45 PM New York time on Friday are closed by the system. The first time is a warning, the second closes the account.
  • No overnight on futures: positions still open at 3:55 PM CT are closed by the system every session.
  • Inactivity: 30 days without a closed trade ends a CFD account; 15 days without trading deactivates a futures account.

Every rule, with its figure on every plan and size, is on Trading rules, explained.

Trying it first

After identity approval, any trader, US residents included, can start one free Edge 1 Step $100K CFD account for 14 days under the paid rules. It never funds and never pays out, but it shows you MetaTrader 5, the dashboard and the rules at work before you spend anything. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of loss.

Educational content, not financial advice. Trading carries risk and most people who attempt an evaluation do not pass it. Accounts are simulated; the rules that bind yours are the ones printed on your plan and in the trading rules.
